Product Overview
Our Stratus 40 is a hybrid of the Stratus 72 and Cirrus 40. It has the same footprint as the smaller Cirrus 40 tent, but the same versatility as its big brother.
The Stratus 40 can be built with all the sides up, all the sides down or a combination of both.
By raising the sides and using our Linkflex system, multiple Stratus 40 can be linked together in countless ways to create a perfect event space with almost infinite possibilities. It can also be linked to our Stratus 72 tent.
These mid-sized event tents are fully customisable and can be supplied with our Wallflex system of canvas or PVC walls, providing ultimate flexibility.

The Stratus 40, is the little brother of Stratus 72. It is a versatile Nordic tipi tent designed for various uses, including space for outdoor education setting/forest schools, and additional seating for pubs and restaurants. What are the dimensions of the Stratus 40?
When pitched with sides down, the Stratus 40 has a diameter of 8.4 meters (27’11”) and a covered area of 50 m² (538 sqft). With sides up, it expands to a diameter of 10.8 meters (35’4”) and a covered area of 86 m² (925 sqft).
How many people can the Stratus 40 accommodate?
The Stratus 40 can seat up to 40 people at 8 per table with sides down, and up to 72 people with sides up. For 6 per table, it accommodates 30 people with sides down and 54 with sides up. The standing room capacity with the sides down is 50 people, or 80 with the sides raised.
Can multiple Stratus 40 tents be linked together?
Yes, the Stratus 40’s design allows for multiple tents to be linked in limitless configurations, creating larger spaces for bigger events. It can also be linked with a Stratus 72.
What is included with the Stratus 40?
Each Stratus 40 package includes a pole set, hardware, stakes, straps, canvas, an In-Tent Vent system, and a packing bag. We offer additional accessories to enhance your tipi.
How long does it take to set up the Stratus 40?
A team of three people can set up the Stratus 40 in less than two hours.
Is the Stratus 40 suitable for all weather conditions?
Yes, the Stratus 40 is designed to withstand various weather conditions, providing shelter and comfort for your event regardless of the season. Our canvas is fully waterproof and the poles are made from extremely slow grown spruce for the far North of Scandinavia, making them extraordinarily strong. We also offer enhancements such as walls and fireplaces.
What support is available for Stratus 40 owners?

Yes, our specially designed Bamse fireplace can be installed in the Stratus 40.
